Dayscapes is a UK-based online service helping people find same-day return day trips. Privacy requests: hello@dayscapes.co.uk or contact form.
What we collect
- Site use — pages viewed and basic technical logs needed to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies — essential cookies always; optional analytics only if you accept them on the cookie banner.
- Contact form — name, email, and message so we can reply.
- Free newsletter — email, frequency, and departure airports you choose (double opt-in).
- Paid flight alerts — email, airports, price cap, and billing status via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
Marketing emails & newsletter
We send trip inspiration emails only where you have given clear consent — including confirming your address by double opt-in. You can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link in every marketing email, or by contacting hello@dayscapes.co.uk. Marketing is separate from service emails needed for a paid alert subscription.
We retain newsletter data while you remain subscribed, or as needed for unsubscribe suppressions and legal obligations. After unsubscribe, we keep the address only as long as needed to prevent accidental re-contact, then delete or anonymise it.
Cookies
Essential cookies make the site work (for example remembering cookie choice). Optional analytics help us see which pages people use; they are stored only for our own product insight and are not sold. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your preference.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 you may request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact hello@dayscapes.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (United Kingdom).
